Procedures and Methods
Following Orton Gillingham procedures and
methods the material is phonetic, structured, sequential and
repetitious to levels of automaticity and presented in a multisensory
format. You can watch lips move and hear human sounds pronounced as the student attempts to identify the
sounds auditorily and associate a sound with the letters that represent that sound. There
is always positive immediate verbal feedback and all instructions
are voiced as well. If the student cannot identify a sound/letter(s) a lesson is automatically and prescriptively
presented. The lessons provide the learner with 8 windows to
choose from. Each window provides 8 separate activities to reinforce
multisensorily, auditorily, visually, kinesthetically and tactilely each new
sound/letter(s).
